What we keep, and why.
Plain-English notes on the data Saver collects, where it goes, and what we do (and don't do) with it.
What we collect
Pre-launch, the only thing this site collects is your email address, when you join the waitlist. Once Saver opens and you start using the app, we also process your account details (username, email, a hashed password), the content you save (URLs, extracted text, thumbnails, and the tags and folders you create), vector embeddings derived from that text to power search and tag suggestions, and a record of when you accepted this notice and which version.
Why we collect it
The waitlist email lets us write to you when Saver opens — no newsletter, no marketing engine, no second use. Inside the app, we process your data on two legal bases: to provide the service you signed up for (our contract with you), and, with the consent you give at registration, to suggest tags and run search across what you've saved.
Who processes it
Mistral AI processes the text of your saves to generate classifications and embeddings. It works as a processor under a data-processing agreement, runs within the EU, and the payloads we send carry no account identifier. Beyond that, the only people who see your data are the Saver team. We do not sell it, share it, rent it, or place tracking pixels in our messages.
How long we keep it
Your waitlist email stays until the launch message goes out and you open the app, or until you ask to be removed — removal happens within seven days of your request. Account and saved content stay until you delete your account, at which point they go with it. Operational logs are kept for thirty days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time. In the app, you can export everything, update your account, and erase your account and all its data yourself. For anything else — objection, restriction, or a complaint to a supervisory authority — write to [email protected], and we will respond within thirty days.
